How to use Bookmarks to save views and communicate information.
In the above example, the two Bookmarks are established with slightly different view settings. One uses the range-mapper to remove the hub from the bearing. The other examines the 2D slice of the part.
How To Author a Bookmark
- Find a vital view to communicate something.
- In the Authoring toolbar, click Bookmark.
- Upon creation, the tool will lock in the viewport settings.
- In the Attributes panel, place any relevant notes about this view. These notes will be available for anyone else to see when they view this Bookmark.
Comment Threading
Bookmarks provide a platform to add comments from any users with comment access. See below for an example; comments populate live so you can thread a chain on a given issue.
